 BIO

Antonio (Mr. Exclusive) Faison was born and raised in Clinton, North Carolina where he was first introduced to hip hop by his oldest brother. Growing up, he listened to artist such as, Eric B., Rakim, Special Ed, and Slick Rick just to name a few.  Mr. Exclusive, influenced by his brother, learned to play the drums and joined the band very early. He learned to read and understand music, as well as play by ear. Mr. Exclusive had the ability to recite artist lyrics after only hearing the song once. That led him into putting arranging his own lyrics to instrumentals. His first recording was from an extended run out of a beat from Raekwon.  Even with lacking studio sound quality, friends would vibe to what he had done. In high school, Mr. Exclusive conditioned his talent by participating in a daily cypher growing in crowd daily.

Mr. Exclusive would later have to make a decision to move Atlanta, Ga after discovering he would have his first born on the way in the fall of 2003. After two years of college, hustling, and realizing the small town could not offer him what he needed to be successful with his music; he then relocated to Atlanta.

He linked up with an artist by the name of Baby Boy from a group called the Southern Playaz who had a hit single in the south titled, “Dickey Ride”.  While the artist was trying to make a “come back” in his career, he featured Mr. Exclusive on a single titled, “Tell a Girl” and made him a part of his new group called “The Take Over Boyz. Thinking that this was going to be it, Mr. Exclusive, then known as Kamillion, began to fund his own studio sessions trying to create a demo with hopes of being discovered. With broken promises, the single would never make the radio. He continued to meet individuals affiliated in the industry. Jumping back in the mix of the club scene in 2008 and seeing the city change with the new music culture so dramatically, he would begin to strictly do beat production and writing.

A phone call from an old friend was what landed Mr. Exclusive back in the studio recording again after being asked to be featured on a track.  This time he began to put his focus on what the industry was looking for while still maintaining his personal sound unlike any other.  This led to the birth of his label, Doing It Legendary Music Group. While working on his first mixtape titled “Destroy And Rebuild”, he submitted his signature song titled “So Exclusive” to be on a Coast 2 Coast mixtape and was given a slot on an Indie top 50 mixtape. With 3 solo mixtapes available online and being featured on a host of others his first single called "The Business" ft. Mic Melta which has become an emerging hit that has reached international communities giving his career major notoriety. Since then he has been awarded "Artist Most Likely To Blow" in the 2014 "Atlanta Underground Music Awards" as well as the male "Grind Hard" award in the first annual "Atlanta Producer Music Awards". With his first album and new mixtape now in the works, he looks to continue to make great music and take his brand and company to the next level.
